I looked at the dagger silently. I took a deep breath in and lifted it up. I have only used a dowsing stick when once when I was 6, but back then I was only playing around. I took a big step forward and felt the dagger jerking me to the right.
“Will I guess this thing really does work,” I said to myself thinking out loud. I continued walking forward. Step by step I walked feeling the dagger jerking in me different directions. Every now and then I would close my eyes as it walked me, ganging more and more trust with the dagger. For I now know that the darger definitely knows where it was taking me.
When it would get late I would set the dagger down and realized that when the moon was in the sky it would illuminate the dagger with a bright white light. The food that Oliver’s dad had pack me did me will for it has now been 3 days and I am not close to running out of food. Every now and then the knights from King Jathan would find my tracks and I would have to hide, but that was all I had to do. For they were very dimwitted and never looked behind every tree the saw. one time I just stand in the a shadow in the open and they still did not notice me.
On the fourth day I wake up and put the dagger in my hand and continued walking. Now I was walking into the forest leaving the desert behind. This forest was vast and very green. I have never seen so many colors before. There were pink, blue, red, and yellow flowers; purple, black, white, and orange berries on different color bushes. Then soon I came to a split in the forest the dagger stop working and I did not feel any more jerking or any caution with it. All I saw of the dagger now was a regular dagger. I Then thought hard and imagine I was talking to Aapo and said,
“Aapo? You there?”
“I’m here Lola. What is it that you need,” He asked. I was relieved he called me back.
“I have came to a place where the dagger has stopped working and I do not know what to do,” I told him.
“Um. Strange. Tell me what does the place you are at look like,” He told in a thinking tone.
“Will its very colorful and green. Um there is a split in the forest-,” I said trying to think how to describe this magical place.
“A split! I know exactly where you are, do you see a scary looking path,” he asked.
“Umm,” I turned to my left and shocking found a path where everything was back to pain dark colors of purple, black, gray, and very dark brown,”well wouldn’t you look at that. Guess what I found a path that looks very scary and creepy and unpleasant. I am guessing you would like me to take?”
“Yes I do, but here, your dagger will no longer work. So follow my instruction. Go straight and just straight. Do not take a turn. Never take a turn if you do you will never be able to get out,”he told me pointing his small stubby finger at me.
“Okay I will go straight. See you there,” I said while opening my eyes.
“Uh just what I wanted,” I continued, “a big scary forest where if I don’t follow Aapo’s instructions I would basically died!” I entered the forest repeating in my head unicorns and fairies. Unicorns and fairies and of course that did not help at all.
As I went through the forest I started to get hungry. I would look through my bag that Oliver’s dad had packed me.
“Blah! The same old stuff. Apples and bread. Will you know what I sick of you,” As I complained to myself I saw out of the corner of my eye some bright big juicy red berries. I just had to take one. I should be able to get back on track because I’m smart and have such a good memory.
“Ha! go straight. What a rule,” I said as I walked to the berries. I got close and smelled them and oh did they smell good. I looked behind me to see if I could see where my original spot was, but all I could see was the same tree, the same bush and the same very thing! I started to panic. I thought though that I could just grab a couple of berries. As I began to pick one the bush began to shake. Then out of the ground was an ugly half bunny, half bear, half ogre creature, but the bunny was a deformed, discolored bunny.
I screamed and started to run as fast as I could. With the giant creature coming towards me. I was tripping over branches banning my face against branches. I saw a bush in front of me and had no choice but to jump through it. As I did the creature was very close to slashing my back. When I got through the bush I came to a big opening and I saw a sign that read Saralinda. I ran to the sign seeing people just starting at me.
“Get out of the way! Get out of the way,”I yelled tripping over myself. Then the giant creature braked out of the forest and started running after me. The people where just standing there casually doing what they were doing.
“What are you people doing get out of the way,” I yelled. No one moved.
“Hello! Giant mutated bunny thing coming your way,” I yelled back. No one moved. I then made a leap through the arch. I turned around to look behind me now on the ground. I covered my face waiting for the creature to eat me, but then instead of smelling the breath of an insane monster eating me I heard a big bang! I looked up and saw the thing crying and backing away back to the forest. I stood dusting myself off.
“Ah! Bet that you fool! Yay! That is what I’m talking about,” I yelled to the monster realizing the weird looks the people of the town where giving me and stopped awkwardly stepping backwards, then I bumped into a person behind me.
“Oh. Hi thing! Whats your name,” The girl said smiling wide hands by her side. Her hair was vibrant pink. She wore a red top that had 2 holes cut out of the sleeves for style. I noticed that she was a ghost because her skin was very pail and she almost looked transparent.
“Lola and I am not a thing! I am a girl,” I told her back.
“My name es Alboo Bae,” she told me while pointing at herself. For a teenager this girl had a very strange way of talking.
“That is what happened. That is how I got here Al. That was the story of Lola,” I said to her.
“wait you Lola! Aapo has told us about you! You new here! You going to live here! Yay, yay, yay! Now where are the bad guys? Let meh beat dem up!”
“Aapo? where is he,” I asked in excitement.
“He’s in the hotel. Waiting for you. You my new roommate,” she said bouncing up and down.
“Thank you,” I said and then took off.
I ran all over the town thinking that I should have asked that weirdo where the hotel was, but then I finally found the only hotel in the town of Saralinda. I quickly opened the door and then scanned the room for Aapo. I saw him floating in a corner of the room.
“Aapo, Aapo. I’m safe here right is it done,” I asked in a panic while catching my breath.
“Darling. Slow done do not be so sure. Yes the knights will never expect you to be here and they would have a very hard time finding this town for it is a very hidden one,” he told putting his little hand on my shoulder.
Some days have passed and I have gained many friends and have gained trust with many of the villagers. Some of the days though the knights from King Jonathan would find me. On those days we would fight they would fight for me and I would fight with them. These people where very nice and lolya. I owned everything to them. But one day when Aapo, Alboo Bae, and I were shopping in the town's market the knights came once more.
We all got to our stations. I had my sword in my hand ready to fight. We all charged at the same time. We fought beverly and with all our might, but then in the middle of our battle I tripped and I saw everything in a new view. I saw friends and good people dying and getting wounded for me. This need to stop! It had to stop! I then yelled with all my might,
“Stop!” Everything went silent and they all had followed my order.
“This is insane! People are dying for me because of this ridiculous situation that I had caused! I thought I was lucky! I thought that I could do everything just by using my head without anyone helping me! Well wouldn’t you look at this! I do need helped! I’m curesed and I needed help from others to get through this cruse that I still have! I still have it because I wasn’t using my head correctly! I left my hometown and my friends behind for you and you guys are helping me solve this problem by war!? I’m sorry if days of running and hiding from you wasn’t enough! If you really want to take me away and kill me then go ahead! I can’t have these people died for me any longer! It’s time for me to face what I need to face, so go ahead and take me away!” Then someone came up from behind me and began to tied my hands together.
“Take me too,” I heard Alboo Bae say.
“Take me too,” I heard many other people say.
“She is part of this town so we are part for her! So if you take her then you take us,” yelled Aapo. Then as soon has he said that I lifted up into the sky. Black smoke covered me. I felt all of bad luck felting away from me. Then slowly I was placed back on to the ground.
“Yes,” I yelled, “the crues is long gone!” When I was back on the ground I saw the knights running away in fright.
“Umm do you think they are gone for goods,” asked Alboo Bae.
“Are they gone for good! Oh yeah they're gone for good,” yelled one of the villager. We all broke out in cheer and laughter and like that I was oafishly free from my cruse and my town. Life could have never been better. I went back to my regular card playing life and now have made my own little family here in Saralinda.

Here is a little sneak peek of a small chapter book I'm making. I have made many before but this one is deftly going to be post. Hope you like and if you do follow me or give a comment. Thxs! XD Warning though this is the draft so every thing is not going to be perfect. FYI I'm not the best speller either. sorry

                                                                                                The Story Of
                                                                                                                        Lola Chewy
Chapter 1
“Lola, speak to me, how did you get! I needs to know,”asked one of my normal card playing fellows; Alboo Bae
“Oh you would like to know that story, would you now,” I told her back. “Please, if can...thank you,” she told me.
“No its fine, after all I am a Storyteller so I shall give you a
story. I warn you though this story is long so please be patient,” I told Alboo Bae.
“I’m all ears,”Alboo Bae said while wiggling her ears with witty smiling.
I use to live in the desert. This desert did have plant life in it. Trees, flowers, and bushes but not cactus. It was one of the most beautiful deserts I have ever seen. In that desert there was a village called Village King Jonathan. This is where I lived. Our houses were very colorful and are made out of sandstone, but I did not live in a house for I live in a pub. The pub was blue, red, and pink with some sand stone yellow. A partner of zigzags went around it.

This pub was was our family's business. Its what keeps us going and alive. My great great grandfather made it and now at this time my  father runs it. My father was glad he was the new owner of the pub. His face lite up and he took the job right away; when my uncle told him he was retiring. My father was a very tall honest and hopeful man. He chose the class of a Storyteller and was very good at winning bets against friends and strangers. Of course thought he did not win every single game, which was fine. His eyes were always a dark ivy green. We only had good memories of each other but there is only one bad memory of him was the day he died.
How it happened is that 2 Bandits had entered the pub. One was a very tall slim man and a girl that looked about my age. They had hodes on keeping their faces hidden. My father came over to take their order. The man told my dad to sit down with him he said “would you like to play a game of cards?”
“Sure,” my dad said, “which game.”
“Which games do you know,” the man asked.
“All of them,” my father said.
“Okay then lets play a game of...umm...Attack,” said the man tilting his head slightly to the side.
“Sounds good to me. But before we play I would like to know your name,” said my father. He always likes to known his appointees names before he plays card with them. I thought nothing of this for this was very normal. But then they each revealed their faces. Underneath those hodes where bright, blood, red eyes and coming out of their hair where cat ears and they had tails. Then it came to me they where-!
“I’m Rick and this is my Daughter Zoey. We are the Reds,” he said.
The Red family. Everyone was scared of them. I hear that they got their bright red eyes from how many people they had killed, but that was only a myth. They always got what they wanted no matter what it toke.
My dad stood up and said,”I’m sorry but I can’t play right now.”
“You know if you try to back out, cheat, or run we're...going to have to killlll you,” said Rick. Zoey then giggled and gave me an insen look.
“then what is your bet,” asked my dad putting his head down.
“If I win we get to sell you and your daughter to become farming slaves. For those ones are very popular right now in Gonzo,” Rick said.” He continued, “but of course this is a fair game. So what is your bet?”
“If I win,” stared my father,”then I and my daughter will be free and you and your daughter have to turn yourselves in.”
“Sounds fine to me. lets play,” said Rick.
Who does this guy think he is, I though. I had hope in my dad for he does win every game but fairly. How would he win this game and he doesn't play Attack as often as the others. I was scared. The 2 started to pass out the cards. 123, 123 they went. the girl sat down at booth behind her farther and sutcked her head out to wacht. for I stand. It was an intense game for right now the cards where even. But what was this. On the 3rd around as my father was passing out cards to Rick. Father slipped one into his sleeve. Then when he was getting his cards. He sneakily got one of his cards and slipped that one into his sleeve and switched it out with the other one. they laid the cards out on to the table getting ready to fight. Then they each made sudden eye contact. The man unexpectedly laughed. This laugh made me jump I known it didn’t mean anything good.
“I told you not to cheat sir,” Rick said grinning hugely.
“What? But I didn’t cheat,” said my father eyes wide open sweat dripping down his face. He took my dads arm and empty it of the card.
“Oh really,” Rick said now standing holding the card up by his face. Rick pulled out a knife and the girl pulled out a small gun.
“Daddy doesn't like it when people cheat,” said the girl smiling. Then the gun fired and my dad was shot. They were about to shoot me but then the knights come in just befor. The Reds made a quick escape.
I sat there by him crying into his cold shoulder. He whispered to me,“be strong for I shall be fine and you too.” Then he took his playing cards, a pen, and small card size piece of paper out of his small belt satchel. He then wrote something on the paper and slipped it into the deck of cards and put them in my hand and told me “I will always be with you wherever you are my love, for I am not dying, for I am being reborn.” Then his hand slipped off my head and onto the ground. His last breath was gone and he was dead. I sat by him now crying in to my hands. The knights took care of the body and my nana took the pub and me in to her own hands.

    Chapter 2
Life really never felt the same after that day and I now spend less and less time in the pub working. For I found myself running away from nana. She was a terrible person. Always yelling at me. I was always doing things wrong for her. I could never please her. She always wanted to own the pub. She was probably glad that my father was murdered.
So I found my place in the market playing cards for I have became a storyteller too; for my father. One day I was walking through the town wearing my casual wear. Which were kneen long, black, leggings with a purple and red sash, with a long, torques, crop top. My long, brown hair was up in a braided ponytail with some hair going over my eye. My small 2 horns stuck out just perfectly around my hair. I had 2 pointed teeth that were hidden inside of my mouth and 2 pointed ears. I am no elf for I am a troll, but my sink was still badge. My father wasn’t a troll but my mom was. He told me all the time that I looked just like my mom. I only remember a little bet about her. Well at least I know that whenever I looked in the mirror I was looking at my mom and now since I Choose to be a storyteller I have a big mark on my forehead. 1 big blue circle and around it was a one small prule one, a small pink one, a small forest green one, and a small brown one. The mark of a storyteller tells a bit about the big moments in a person's past. With mine it's based off an event and each circle represents a person. The middle one was my father, me being the purple one, and the other close friends and relatives were the other circles. although these people that where shown are only ones that gave me ture support after this event. Yes, this is telling the story of my father's funeral and death. For if you noticed the purple one is a lot closer to the blue one then the others. It is not the greatest thing to have on my head but I learned to like it. Today thought I was looking for my friend. and-

“Ah I found you,” I said running and pointing at my friend. Then when I got to him I put my arm around him and gave him a nguing.
“when you tell someone to meet up with you in one certain place then you should stay in that place,” I told him.
“Lola I told you to meet me here,” he told me breaking loose from my grip.
“Oh really now,” I said putting my hands on my hips giving a little sass.I then growled at him and gave him a playful shove. He gave one back to me. We started walking but we didn’t know where going.
“So, Olivier, what should we do? We can play cards. Sword fight-,” I said being interrupted by Olivier.
“It’s your birthday soon isn’t,” he asked me with a big smile.
“Yup soon I’ll be 14,” I said nodding my head.
“Are you going to be celebrating,” he asked.
“No nana won’t let me,” I said tilting my head down.
“Hey don’t be so bummed out! We’ll celebrate it together! We seem to always have fun! I’ll buy anything you want in the market! Maybe we will get your ears pierced,” Olivier said putting his head down and around so he could see my face. His eyes were squinted and his face was happy.
Olivier seemed to always find away of cheer me up. His eyes were always a bright blue. He had blond hair and tan skin, and was always clean. He is a gnome. His hat was full of gears and and a little blacksmith's hammer on the side of it.
“Sure, but what should we do now,” I asked him.
“We can earn some dreams, ” he told me while rubbing 3 of his fingers together.
“Sure I am low on dreamchasers any ways,” I said turning to head to the spot where we usually play cards.

We sat there playing cards with each other and playing cards with others. When hardly any would come we would just talk and laugh together. Then an old, wrinkled, wizard came up to us and asked if we would like to play cards.
We both said back to him at the same time
“sure,” we both giggled after words.
“Would you like to chose a cretin opponent, ” I asked him. He took long and stared at each of us carefully.
“Well then,” said Oliver.
“You,” he said extending his eyebrows while pointing at me.
“Then sir let us sit down and play a game of Speed,” I told him thinking in my head that this man is too old to be fast enough to beat me at a game of Speed. This shall be a piece of cake! We booth sat down at the table. I took out my dad’s deck of cards and set the one he wrote on to the side faced down and started to shuffle the rest and short them out.
“What is that card,” the man asked pointing to it.
“It’s not a card,” I told him, “it’s just a plain piece of paper.”
“Oh, is it now,” the man asked while raising his eyebrows, “may I see it?” He started to lean towards the card to pick it up. I quickly put my hand over it.
“No! No. You can’t. Now put your betting money in the hat,” I told him while clearing my throat and pointing to Oliver’s hat.
“I’m not betting money,” he told me while raising one eyebrow. I quickly jumped out of my chair a toke a step back. I can’t have what happen to my father happen to me!
“No don’t not worry it is only a little cruse,” he told me while shaking his hands in front of him to tell me no.
“A cures, but there is no such thing, unless if you come from a different realm. Do you,” I asked him.
“I do,” he said back, “all it would be is a bad luck curse...it can be cured but to do that you will have to find that out by listening and looking.”
“Why are you doing this? What have I done to you,” I yelled.
“Nothing I just feel that you need it,” he told me.
“Why! Why do I,” I asked him.
“You shall find out by using your head,” he told me while pointing at his head. This is starting to sound like a fake. By using your head, pshhh. Why my head is the only thing I use.
“Lola maybe we should stop this,” Oliver whispered in my ear.
“Don’t worry I think it’s a fake,” I told him back.
“I don’t know Lola. There is strange magic out there,” Oliver told me while shaking his head.
“Don’t worry I got this, any ways I should be able to win this. Just look at him,” I said back.
“Maybe I should leave,” said the man while getting out of his chair.
“No it is fine I shall do the bet,” I told him sitting back down into my chair.
Then the game started. Back and forth we went. This old man was faster than I thought. Soon all the cards were gone and they weren’t in my hand. I think my eye started to twitch a bit because I was angry and confused. He grabbed the money and spoke gibberish for a second and then started to leave.
“Wait what about the curse,” I asked him.
“I already cast it,” he yelled from far away, but now his voice had sounded more youth like and off from the distanced he looked younger. It was night so I couldn’t really tell.
“Ahh! It’s getting late! mah and pah are going to kill me! Just look at the placement of the moon! The moon! Sorry Lola but I O’t to go! Meet me at the Smith shop when the sun is in the center of the sky,” he said while running off and waving his hand goodbye.
I waved back and yelled,”okay see you then!”

    Chapter 3
The walk home was lonely but peaceful there was really nothing to
worry about. It was just a quiet town with some quiet people. When I got to the pub I scarcely open the door. Nana yelled at me to get to my room.
“Yes nana,” I told her back giving a slight blow. As I went up stairs I accidentally stepped on my nana’s feet. She yelled at me and told me to “Get up stairs!” I ran up stairs and slammed the door behind me taking a deep breath in and then out. I climb into my bed and fled into a deep sleep.

I slept for hours and soon I woke up. I looked out my window while rubbing my eyes and stared into the sun, blinding me. Then I realized that the sun was past the middle of the sky! I was late! I quickly got dressed in the clothes closes to me which was my outfit I wore yesterday. I decided that worked. I climbed down my tree by the window because at this time of day without working nana would have yelled at me and I would have gotten punished. I ran all the way to Olivier's dad’s Smith Shop. I opened the door and closed it. I was bending down to catch my breath and then I felled on to the floor.

“Um? Lalo? Are you okay,” Oliver asked me bending down to look at my tired face.
“Yah...how late am I,” I asked sitting up still trying to catch my breath.
“Come on Lola! It’s your birthday! You never late on your birthday, you came right on time,” Oliver's dad told me. His dad is a big, chubby man. With a long orange bread and was always cheery. I knew him ever since I was born our families become one family. We all laughed after he said that.
“We got a gift for you Lola” he continued. He held out a big sword that was just the right size for me. The blade was the cleanest most shiniest blade I have ever saw. The hand guard was black, and so was the sheath. The pummel was silver and made out of nice heavy duty metal. Here and there some purple glass was melted into the sheath and hand guard.
“It’s beautiful,” I said holding up the sword.
“Wait don’t forget this,” Oliver yelled. He handed me a sword holder made out of nice thick black cow leather. I put the scabbard around my waist and slowly slided the sword in to it.
“Thank you,” I said hugging both of them.
“Now you kids go and have fun,” his dad told us.
“Okay,” we both said running off.
“And be careful with that sword,” Oliver's dad yelled back to me.
“Don’t worry I will,” I yelled back.
We spended hours in the market. So far the day was going well. Oliver got my ears pierced and bought me a nice pair of small blue dangly earrings. I put them in a soon as I got them. It was now late we went by the river and played in it. We soon had gotten tired and both sat on a wood bench together.
Oliver gave me a big grin,”happy official birthday Lola!”
I tilted my head silty and smiled back,”thank you Oliver.” There was silences. I soon found myself dozing off but then off in the distance we heard a man laughing.

    Chapter 4
He was running toward us with a bag in his hand.
“Here you go,” the man said while running towards us dropping the bag on the ground in front of us. As he left we both watched him run away. I picked up the bag out of curiosity and look inside with Oliver. Inside were pieces of jewelry and some dreamcatchers. I put my hand in it to grab at the jewelry, and our eyes were wide and confused.
“Did you know that guy,” asked Oliver.
“No! Did you,” I asked back.
“No,” he said.
I grabbed a necklace out of the bag and put it on.
“Wait, what are you doing,” he asked in panic,”how do you know it wasn't stolen!”
“If they stole it; they wouldn't have given it to us, plus I’ll keep it hidden ,” I said standing up and tucking the necklace in to my shirt.
“Okay good bye. Maybe see you tomorrow,” Olivier yelled back to me.
“Yah...maybe,” I said not looking back. The thoughts went back to my nana. Why! Why do I have to have more bad luck?! I already have to live with nana. It’s not fair and I don’t understand! I have noticed the curses: 1st stepping on my nana’s feet, 2nd missing the time I needed to meet Oliver at the Smith shop, 3rd the girl made a mistake while piercing my ears, 4th someone pick pocketed me before I was going to buy something, and for the 5th we will see what will happen. I picked the necklace out of the bag on purpose to see if these events where just not coincident and I purposely hid it in my shirt. Because if this bad luck really was true someone will notice the stolen necklace and then would tell knights on me. Then if they do I should be able to outrun them and flee my town. Plus if the curse is real it would probably be better to solve the problem somewhere else than here.
Chapter 5

The next day I was working in the pub in the morning. I drop some plates on some people but so far no one has noticed my necklace. Soon my work time was over so I left to walk around in the market. If no one recognized the necklace there I should be more than good and I brought my sword with me just in case. But so far in the market no one has noticed it so I decided to sit down and rest. It was getting dark but not too dark.  As I sat an adult sat by me with her crying baby in her hands.
“Hello,” she told me while rocking the baby.
“Hello,” I said back awkwardly.
“Shhh shhh,” the mother said to her baby while glancing at me.
“You know that chain looks familiar,” she told me.
“hu,” I said back as a question.
“May I see it,” she asked.
“Sure,” I said while sweating. I never really planned for it to be like this. I showed her the necklace and her eyes went wide. Oh no does she-!?
“That necklaces was stolen from my own castle! You took it from me! You where the one! Knights! Knights! come here quickly,”she said now standing.

I ran. So this curse is real! Well now its time for the plan. 1st, I need to go to Oliver's place and tell him that I have to flee my town. Most likely when I tell him this he is going to ask why because it is part of nature we all are very curious and want to know everything. There is a simple way of getting out of this. Either remind him of the cures or say there is no time to explain. Depending on how much time I have will help me choose which one.

Shoot! The knights are now following me. I got to pick up my speed but just a slight bit. I do not want to get too tired. Well anyways when I tell Oliver that he is going to be most concerned about my safety. So 2nd, most likely he is going to start packing me some food for the trip. Which would take care of my starvation and of course one an other thing he may give me something useful to help me on the way.

Now take a turn here through this alley. It must be a sharp turn... there that slowed them down. 3rd, when I get all of the supplied escape through an area that has less knights and have Oliver and his family scream so then they don’t look suppish for helping me. When that is done of course some of the knights would come in to check on the family; that leaves me with less to worry about. But then of course the others will catch up. 4th, the sandstone wall. I need to run straight for the gates dodging the guards and sprinting through the gates before they close. 5th, of course they are still are going to follow me so all I have to do is hide and find a new town that well except me and stand up for me to help me solve my problem.

Yay, I made to Oliver’s just on time.
“Oliver! I need to flee the town,” I yelled to him acting scared which I was not.
“Why Lalo,” his mother asked with concern. Ah! I’m running out of time! a porch number 2.
“There is no time time explain! But I didn't do anything! I swear! My nana must have set me up,” I said.
“Here let us at least give you some food for the journey,” said Oliver's dad while putting some bread, apples, and crackers in a small bag with some water. great so far my plan is working perfectly.
“And Lola, here you go. Please take good care of it him,” Oliver said while handing me a small knife.
“Thank you Oliver,” I said while grabbing the food, money, and knife.
“Now you need to act sacred when they come in and if you don’t they may think you were trying to help me,” I told them while looking through the windows. I found one where there was no one there to get me. Perfect. I said goodbye to them and sorry for leaving. I jumped out the window and ran for the gate. I lost 5 men 7 more to go. Great now I’m at the gate and they have archers there to shoot at me! Come on people it’s only a necklace! If you want it that badly then take it! I throw the necklace onto the ground. The gate was being guarded so I took out my small knife. I ran with it behind me. The first man came. I spun around dodging his swing and slashed him in the stomach. The other man came at me swinging in left. I stepped back quickly and to the side avoiding his swing cutting him on the arm. I made it past the closing gate and quickly climb an easily climbable tree.

Chapter 6
As I was sitting in the tree in took a deep breath in through my nose and out through my mouth. I looked down at the knights. They were searching for me but none of them yet have look up and lets keep it that way. All of them had their hands on their swords ready for a fight. Thought why did they want the necklace that badly and then the picture of the lady’s face went in mind...she was the queen. Ah! I’m so stupid! Hopefully there is not worse to come but now I know I will never see my town again. A tear went down my face and I leaned my head on the tree.
“Good bye Oliver,” I whispered very quietly. Not late after I found myself asleep.

The next day I heard a creak. That’s what woke me up. Then the tree branch broke and I felled down from the tree screaming, trying to grab hold of another branch, bouncing off of tree branches back and forth. finally reaching the ground with a thumped. I landed on my butt but then out of uncontrollably falling on to my back. I groaned as I tried to get up. I only made it up to sitting. My legs where spread out and my arms were holding me up. I sat there silently and in shock for a second and then wield out crying like a baby.
“Shh Shh. Be quiet child. you're going to get your self catched again,” said a voice. I looked down for my head was up when I was crying and stopped crying. In front of me I saw a strange flying creature. I sat there now staring at it like a child.
“There you go. All better,” it said to me with a small smile. It had white skin but to it’s white skin had the slightest pinkish color to it. It’s wings looked like wings from a young child’s drawing of a butterfly. Where it’s belly button was was a small swirl and same for it’s nose. It had 2 small stubby legs and 2 stubby arms. It had a man’s voice but it was still soothing, calm, and just a tab more high pitch.
“What are you,” I asked while peering at him closely.
“I am your new guardian, ‘it told me and then spins around with it’s hands up, ‘I come from dagger. I use to be sweets Oliver’s and now I am yours. When he handed me over to you I became yours.”
“How can you protect me,”I asked.
“Oh dear Lola, When I got given to you I saw all of you past and what you were thinking for we can talk together without taking...did you know that,” it told me in a motherly tone.
“How do we do it,” I asked him
“The talking? Well it’s simple really just pretend that you are talking to me and then thank what you want to say...does that make scenes,” he told while making hand motions to what he was saying. I nodded back.
“Why don’t you try,” he said. I closed my eyes and pulled up a picture of the creature and in my head said the words,
“Like this?”
“Ah exactly right,” the guardian said.
“Do you have a name,” I asked.
“I do it’s Aapo,” Aapo said with a bow, “but please excuse me for I need to tell a cretin village that a cretin someone is coming.” Then he disappeared. I used the power that I now have and asked,
“Will you come back?”
He said “yes. To find where we are headed follow the dagger.” Then like that I was alone.
